An Indiana couple who avoided prison time by agreeing to pay back more than $150,000 they stole from a blind, elderly woman in their care now say they can't afford those payments. Bary and Robbin Bostic have violated their probation by falling behind in the court-ordered monthly payments of 13-hundred dollars each that a judge ordered them to pay while sentencing them on their theft convictions. The couple wants their monthly payments cut to 20 percent of their pay as they say the monthly payments greatly exceed both of their disposable incomes. Their court filing says Bary Bostic makes $14 an hour and Robbin $8.75 an hour. . A Porter Circuit Court judge will consider their request next month.
