Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated an accident when a van hit a utility pole.
Bradley Blanton. 37, of 110 Main St., Claypool, slammed into the pole while trying to avoid a deer near the intersection of County Farm Road and CR 600S, according to an incident report from KCSD.
Blanton had non-incapacitating injuries to his head and neck. Damage was estimated at $5,000 to $10,000.
