A vigil will take place tonight for the four month old baby who investigators say died by the hands of her father. According to WNDU, the vigil will be held at the corner of Vernon and East Dubail Streets in South Bend at 5:30 pm. It is organized by On-Site Prayer Ministry, a group that shines light on violence in St. Joseph County. Everyone is welcome to attend. Halo Stutzman suffered skull fractures, massive brain injury, bleeding behind the eyes and bruising on her body. She died on July 10th. Her father, 22 year old Bryan Michel has been charged with felony neglect of a dependent, resulting in death. Michel is due back in court Friday. His trial is currently scheduled for November 12th.
