The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program will kick off its tenth year of service to Kosciusko County with a public reception Wednesday.
Since 2010, VITA has completed thousands of free tax returns for elderly, disabled, and lower-income residents of Warsaw and Winona Lake.
Grace College business students, professors, and CPAs are among those who volunteer to make the service possible.
Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer, Grace College President Dr. Bill Katip, and William P. Gordon Institute for Enterprise Development Director Dr. Al Grossnickle will all be speaking at the reception, which is at the Manahan Orthopedic Capital Center in Winona Lake at 1:30 p.m.
