SYRACUSE – The Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation’s Education Center on Ind. 13 in Syracuse will be buzzing with activity on April 30 for the sixth annual fee Earth Day Festival.
This event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be 20 different activities/exhibits for you to participate in and enjoy.
Would you like to see a raptor? Try your luck at identifying ducks that frequent the area or identifying invasive species around us. Why do birds migrate and what challenges do they face on their journey? Have you explored the many wild spaces in our county? Find out where they are. Watch how arrowheads are made and beads strung to make jewelry.
The Conservancy is at 11586 N. Ind. 13, Syracuse. Stop by the registration tent first for some free goodies then have fun at each of the exhibits. Dress for Indiana weather.
