A GoFundMe page has been set up for a little girl who died in a tragic farm accident on Tuesday.
Officials say 8-year-old Chelsie Hill fell from a gate at her family’s farm near Wakarusa.
So far the GoFundMe page has raised about $5,200 of its $10,000 goal as of 1 p.m. on Friday.
Police say a gate Chelsie was on fell over, causing her to fall awkwardly. Her older brother found her unresponsive and not breathing at about 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Relatives attempted CPR before local emergency responders arrived on the scene.
Chelsie was a third-grader at Madison Elementary School in Wakarusa.
