Warsaw Community Schools had its best graduation rate in the 2016-2017 school year.
The finalized graduation rate for Warsaw Community High School came in at 95.1%. That’s the highest it’s been in 40 years.
Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert says the high graduation rate is part of exciting continual growth for the school.
“It has been a collaborative effort between our teachers, administration, support staff, community organizations, parents and volunteers,” Hoffert explains.
Warsaw Community Schools also credits a graduation cohort for the success. They created the cohort to examine current student data in order to intervene on behalf of students to ensure their success in meeting their graduation goals.
The school also says they’ve expanded course offerings to help keep students engaged as they pursue their diploma.
