Warsaw Community Schools recently honored several drivers from the WCS Transportation Department for their numerous years of service with the district. These drivers have assisted with the transportation of students and staff for over two to three decades.
A news release announcing the honors says that without these drivers, Warsaw Community Schools could not fulfill its mission “to inspire and equip all students to continuously acquire and apply knowledge and skills while pursuing their dreams and enriching the lives of others.”
Those honored include Lisa Wallen for 33 years of service, Jackie Clase for 30 years, Sally Johnson for 28 years, Bernie Waikel for 26 years, and Colleen Fritcher for 24 years.
