Eight incumbent candidates from Warsaw filed for re-election Wednesday.
Among them were Warsaw Common Council members Jeff Grose, Mike Klondaris, Diane Quance, Jerry Frush, Jack Wilhite, and Cindy Dobbins.
Clerk-treasurer Lynne Christiansen and two-term Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer also joined in filing paperwork at the Kosciusko County Justice Building with the group.
So far current council member Ron Shoemaker has not made an official announcement, but did start an exploratory committee for the office of Mayor back in July.

Other candidates who filed paperwork yesterday include Josh Finch, who is hoping to represent Shoemaker’s current District 2 on the Council. Finch previously ran for Kosciusko County Council in 2017.
The deadline for candidates to file ahead of the May primary is February 8.
