Family Safety Day, presented by the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and sponsored by Kosciusko REMC, is celebrating its seventh year Saturday. The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Warsaw’s Central Park and Center Lake Pavilion. This year’s Family Safety Day will continue to offer free activities devoted to health and safety with a variety of hands-on learning activities, presentations and games. Kids can learn about bike, water, electrical and fire safety, stranger danger, first aid and many other areas of safety at this year’s event. Kosciusko Community Hospital will have several children’s activities, including their gummy worm “surgery” station and hand-washing education station, and they will provide blood pressure checks for adults.
