Warsaw Tiger Football announces the kick-off of the inaugural season of NFL Flag Football at Warsaw Community High School. The goal of this league is to provide an alternative to traditional youth tackle football that is safe, fundamentally sound, fun, and in-line with the changing dynamics of the sport. All activities will take place at Warsaw Community High School on Saturdays, starting August 15. The league is intended for players in grades 3-6. All players will learn to block and tackle in controlled situations with the emphasis of keeping the head out of the game. Players will also learn to throw, run with, and catch the ball in competitive situations. All area athletes are welcome to participate. The cost to register is $25.00. The registration fee includes a reversible jersey, flags, and memberships for players/parents for USA Football. For more information and to register, visit wchsfootball.weebly.com.
