Warsaw is officially joining Kosciusko County’s Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan.
The Common Council approved the move during a short meeting. The Times Union says the plan has a list of projects to help prevent natural disasters, such as flood control devices.
Without the list, the county would lose eligibility for federal flood insurance and federal grants to pay for projects.
