A man has been arrested and preliminarily charged with stalking, attempted obstruction of justice and intimidation, all class D felonies. On May 30, an officer responded to a disturbance at McDonald’s in Warsaw, and spoke with 20 year old Justin Babendrager who stated he was sitting inside his vehicle in the parking lot when a man approached him and pounded on his vehicle’s window challenging him to fight. The man was the father of the woman Babendrager had been allegedly threatening and stalking. Over the last few months, Babendrager had made several threats against the woman and her family along with sending her naked pictures of himself. After the altercation at McDonald’s the woman showed police the threatening texts that were sent to her and Babendrager was arrested.
