Police arrested a 23-year-old Warsaw man Wednesday after investigating an alleged child molestation that occurred in 2009. Warsaw Police were called Monday morning by the Indiana Department of Child Services after receiving the complaint from staff at Warsaw Community Schools, according to a press release from Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. The investigation found that in the summer of 2009, then-18-year-old Terren Raphael of Warsaw sexually molested an 11-year-old girl that he and his mother lived with in Warsaw. The now-15-year-old victim told police she was threatened at the time of the alleged incidents by the suspect not to tell anyone. Raphael was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on two Class B felony counts of child molesting with a victim under the age of 14. He is being held on a $10,000 surety bond. Additional charges may occur in this case. Warsaw Police were assisted by the Indiana Department of Child Services, Warsaw Community Schools and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
