A Warsaw man has been arrested for pointing a loaded rifle at his girlfriend and not allowing her to leave.
Warsaw Police Captain Kip Shuter tells News Now Warsaw that the incident happened February 16.
Police say 34-year-old Sloan John White was threatening suicide, but when his girlfriend tried to call police, he pointed the AR-15 at her.
The Times Union reports White was distraught over accusations he was molesting a child. The alleged molestation is still under investigation.
White was booked into Kosciusko County Jail May 23 for a felony charge of intimidation with a deadly weapon. He is being held on a $10,250 bond.
