A Warsaw man is facing a child seduction charge after allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a girl under 18 years old.
36-year-old Matthew Thomas of Warsaw was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Tuesday for the felony charge.
Court documents indicate detectives spoke with the therapist of the girl, who was at least 16 but under age 18. The therapist said the girl told her she had a sexual relationship with Thomas that continued through her senior year of high school.
The Times-Union reports information on when the relationship began and how long it lasted were redacted in the affidavit. It also doesn’t indicate how the girl and Thomas knew each other.
A no contact order between Thomas and the victim was ordered Thursday.
