A Warsaw man was killed in a single vehicle crash during the overnight hours in Pierceton this past weekend.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year old Zacheriah Cain was driving south on First Street in Pierceton around 12:40 AM on Sunday, when his car crossed into the northbound lanes of the road near Tulip Street, left the roadway, hit a tree then two houses.
A passenger in the car, 28-year old Dontaye Cain was killed in the incident, while Zacheriah Cain was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police did not say if speed or any substances or alcohol played a role in the crash.
