The Warsaw Police Department arrested three individuals on drug related charges on Monday.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, Warsaw Police narcotic officers and Kosciusko County Probation went to a residence located at 1544 W. 400 N. in Warsaw, to complete a home visit. Indiana Department of Child Services attempted a home visit earlier in the day after receiving complaints of drug use at the residence.
During the visit, authorities observed drug paraphernalia which tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers obtained a search warrant and located over two grams of crystal methamphetamine, over one pound of marijuana, multiple needles, smoking devices and other drug paraphernalia. Over $2,500 in cash, two handguns, two sawed off shotguns, another shotgun, and a muzzleloader were also located.
Police charged the tenant, Aaron M. Phillips, 35, of Warsaw with dealing between 1-5 grams of methamphetamine with enhancement, a level 3 felony; possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine with enhancement, a level 5 felony; dealing between 30g-10lbs of marijuana, a level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a level 6 felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor. The charges were enhanced for possession of the firearms. He is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $20,250 bond.
Chad A. Heinold, 29, of Warsaw was also charged with maintaining a common nuisance, a level 6 felony; possession of a syringe, a level 6 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor. He is being held on a $5,250 bond.
Sarah R. Hine, 25, of Kingsford Heights was arrested for possession of marijuana, a level 6 felony; visiting a common nuisance, a class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor. She is being held on a $5,250 bond.
Warsaw Police were assisted by the Kosciusko County Probation Department and the Indiana Department of Child Services.
