Yoder stated that he had just purchased the meth from Dylan Connor Davis, 21, of Warsaw.

According to court documents, another officer recognized Davis driving a truck nearby. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Davis, who was wanted on a warrant. Davis was driving with a female passenger and Davis’s minor daughter. The same K9 officer performed an exterior free air sniff of the vehicle and alerted officers to the presence of a narcotic in the vehicle.

Three cases of shotgun ammunition, three shotguns and a handgun were tucked into the driver’s door pocket with a loaded magazine. The female passenger admitted to police to delivering narcotics for Davis, specifically heroin.

A search warrant was obtained for Davis’s residence at 640 Deerfield Path, Warsaw. At the home, officers located 14.4 grams of heroin, 6.9 grams of meth, three digital scales, one ledger with names and prices and 1,000 rounds of ammunition. Ten pieces of straw with white powder residue and eight glass smoking devices were also found in the home.
