A Warsaw teen escaped injury after flipping his vehicle onto its side in a Sunday afternoon accident. According to a Warsaw Police Department crash report, 18 year old Zackariah A. Tucker of Warsaw was traveling southbound around 3 p.m. Sunday on Hand Avenue near the intersection of West Center Street in Warsaw when a container of meatballs spilled in the backseat. Tucker reached behind him while the vehicle was in motion, veering off the right side of the roadway and striking two concrete posts and a caution flashing light. Tucker’s vehicle then flipped onto the driver’s side. The light base was broken and the light was laying on the ground when police arrived. Tucker declined medical treatment at the scene. Damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.
