A Warsaw woman who was a target of a controlled drug deal by NET43 was arrested after she allegedly sold meth in her kitchen while children were present.
Alysha Noelle Cook, 28, of 2610 E. Patterson Road, Warsaw, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday and faces a Level 3 felony charge of dealing in methamphetamine with an enhancement of having a child under 18 years old present; and a Level 5 felony charge for possession of methamphetamine with an enhancement of having a child under 18 years old present.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed Sept. 14 in Kosciusko Circuit Court, in March officers with the NET 43 Drug Task Force were contacted by the Marshall County narcotics and drugs unit that an informant would be able to purchase drugs from Cook in her Warsaw home. The informant told police that they would be able to buy meth and Oxycodone, a narcotic drug, from Cook.
The informant met Cook in her kitchen, according to court papers, and provided the informant with 3.36 grams of meth and six Oxycodone pills. The drug deal was recorded.
Cook’s bond was set at $20,250.
