Michael Schmidt has resigned as principal at Wawasee High School. Schmidt has been on administrative leave since May 12th while he tended to what was described by the school as “resolution of a personal matter”. The Goshen News reports that Schmidt did not take part in graduation ceremonies last weekend. A press release from the corporation says Schmidt requested that his resignation not be acted on right away so his children could finish the school year.
