It was a somber evening at Tuesday night’s Warsaw Community School Board meeting as Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert announced the resignation of Board President, Jennifer Tandy. Dr. Hoffert stated, “JENNIFER IS AN OUTSTANDING BOARD MEMBER PROVIDING TREMENDOUS LEADERSHIP IN HER ROLE OF PRESIDENT FOR NEARLY 5 YEARS. HER DEDICATION HELPED PROVIDE GREATER EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR STUDENTS.”
During Tandy’s tenure on the school board, WCS witnessed significantly higher graduation rates, along with educational and extracurricular facilities. Those interested in serving the remaining two years of Tandy’s term can submit a letter of interest to Superintendent Hoffert on or before September 30.
