Low gas prices are an early Christmas gift for area drivers. Average retail gasoline prices in Indiana have fallen another 17.6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.23/g yesterday. According to www.GasBuddy.com, prices yesterday were 97.5 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 57.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. A survey of area stations put a gallon of regular unleaded at between $2.10-$2.15 this morning.
