Average retail gasoline prices in Indiana have risen 6.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.93/g yesterday according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 3,271 gas outlets in Indiana. That compares with the national average that has fallen almost 2-cents per gallon in the last week to $2.01/g according to gasoline price website www.GasBuddy.com. Prices yesterday were 50.5 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 13.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
Fort Wayne has the lowest prices in Northern Indiana at $1.88 a gallon. Plymouth, Wabash and South Bend stations averaged $1.89, Warsaw followed at $1.90, and the average in Goshen was the highest in the area at $1.97.
