A West Point cadet from Granger has been indicted by a federal grand jury on child pornography charges. 23 year-old Ricky Hester was arrested and removed from the campus of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point back in December after a months-long investigation. Department of Homeland Security agents and the U.S. Attorney's Office say Hester sent emails with videos of pre-pubescent boys engaging in sexual activities and other emails seeking pornographic material of boys between the ages of 4 and 10. Hester was a member of the academy’s class of 2014, but was placed on leave after his arrest. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
