A Whitley County man is dead after an early Saturday morning crash in South Whitley. 66 year old Michael Sills was driving westbound in his 1989 Chevy truck when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of State Road 105 and 1000 South, and struck another vehicle driven by 24-year old Kyle Whitehead of Nappanee. Sills was taken to Parkview Regional Hospital with a head injury, where he later died. Whitehead was not injured in the crash.
