WARSAW — The city of Warsaw has found a temporary use for the old Marsh building, which it owns.
Wildman Business Group will temporarily lease a portion of the building on Buffalo Street.
The announcement was made Monday at the city redevelopment commission meeting.
Jeremy Skinner, the city’s director of community and economic development, said the city will continue to work toward finding a buyer in hopes of redeveloping the property.
Wildman will pay the city redevelopment commission $1,353 a month for six months and could choose to extend its month-to-month lease (if the city does not find a buyer) for an elevated rate of $3,000 a month.
The city paid $1.25 million to Cardinal Services in 2023 after the non-profit chose to go in another direction for expansion plans. City officials have said from the start that they hope to find a buyer for the property.
