The National Weather Service Northern Indiana has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Northern Indiana overnight tonight.
The advisory lasts from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The Service advises that cold wind chills are expected, which can cause frostbite to exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Wind chills are forecast to range from 10 below zero to 15 below zero.
Frost bite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Experts say everyone should make sure to wear a hat and gloves.
