A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 3 AM to 7 PM on Monday for Kosciusko, Marshall, Elkhart, Lagrange, LaPorte, Cass, Starke, and St. Joseph Counties.
Slippery road conditions are expected during the Monday morning commute, and possibly the evening commute as well. The National Weather Service says snow covered roads and limited visibility will occur.
Snow with accumulations from 3 to 6 inches is expected. The highest amounts will be north of the Toll Road.
The National Weather Service also warns that blowing and drifting are likely.
