The investigation continues today as police have a woman in custody accused of stealing a car and firing shots at officers. It all happened early this morning in South Bend when police attempted to pull the woman over. Officials say that the truck actually belonged to a retired police officer, and there was a firearm inside. Police say that when the woman realized police were chasing her she sped off, hitting speeds of more than 100 MPH. It was during the chase that she also fired at police. Several squad cars were damaged in the incident but no one was injured.
