Warsaw Radio Legend Rita Price, the lunchtime voice on Classic Hits 107.3 WRSW, will be honored tonight at Tippecanoe Valley High School.
In July, the school unveiled a newly refinished gym floor, along with the name, Rita Price Simpson printed near the sidelines. Valley dedicated the court to Rita as she has been “the voice and loyal supporter of student athletes at Tippecanoe Valley for generations.”
Price has been in broadcasting for 60 years and has won numerous awards and recognitions both locally and statewide. The WRSW studio in downtown Warsaw is also named in her honor.
The dedication ceremony will take place before the start of the men’s basketball game between Warsaw and Valley tonight, which will happen after the JV game at 6:15 PM.
